Our Story
Owning a home-based gourmet donut business while operating via mobile and physical popups with island-wide delivery and event catering has been nothing short of an adventure. One filled with some of the greatest rewards and the toughest challenges.
Sugar Shack Donuts was launched in February 2023, by two passionate industry professionals. It steered from a passion for culinary excellence throughout our travels around the world, and a young Bahamian's dream to follow in their grandmother's footsteps in becoming an entrepreneur in pastry making. Thus, the journey began to continue this Inaguan grandmother's legacy to open a family-owned donut boutique.
Perfecting our craft and taking our customers on an explosive culinary experience have been our top pillars, motivating us to adapt to an ever-changing market and keep up with customer demands. We pride ourselves on creating unique and unforgettable donut flavors and coffee crafts. While the focus of our business model is placed on home-made brioche and vegan donut, we stand out by putting a Bahamian twist to an American classic and world-renown dessert.
